For over three decades, we have put the needs of our customers first to help deliver excellence every day. In 1995 we became 100 percent employee-owned, ensuring the commitment of every employee to deliver top-notch customer service before, during and after the sale.
Hunter Hughes joined the Vermeer team in 2013 to support the mining industry in Texas and South Louisiana. He has spent years in and around the mining industry, most recently with Austin Powder Company, a leading manufacturer of industrial explosives and provider of blasting services. At Austin Powder, Hunter served as a technical consultant in Central Texas, helping to design blasts to meet the specific technical needs of customers, including the reduction in vibration, air overpressure and product size. Hunter also oversaw operations in North Texas and Oklahoma, ensuring that all customer, operational and compliance expectations were met.
We are proud to distribute Vermeer branded equipment. Founded in 1948 in Pella, Iowa, by Gary Vermeer, the company has grown to over 2,000 employees across the globe and is still family owned and operated. The Vermeer product line has grown as well to include over 30 different types and 150 models of equipment to meet the needs of customers in a variety of markets including tree care, recycling and wood waste processing, utility installation and mining.
